Geek Girl the age is +11 I think but I read them at your age. They are mixed emotions. Parts you laugh until you hurt other times you feel like crying. They are amazing and a bit romantic. They are by Holly Smale

For an 8 year old I would recommend a number of books. Have you read:
Tom Gates (funny stuff)
Horrible Histories (historical)
Roald Dahl (amazing)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid (funny stuff)
Jacqueline Wilson (always more)
There’s so many other books as well, but you probably read these already!

hi i think an 8 year old would enjoy jaquiline wilson books like staring tracy beaker and if u want real emotion from a book cookie but it has a very sad bit in the book and i think harry potter and the philosipher stone (the first harry potter book) cause 8 is a perfect age to start reading harry potter

secret kingdom, mermaid reef would be great. I bought mine from asda but I don’t think they sell it there any more. If not you could try magic ballerina, summer in Enchantia get it from levenshulme arcadia, gym, library(bottom floor) and swimming.

hi again i… have just finished reading “wonder” it is about a boy with a deformed face and his life. Also after the challenge joey graceffa, a youtuber, is launching a book out which i think you would really like called the children of eden. its about the earth which is horrible and eden is the only place in the world that isnt and so in eden families are only allowed 1 child but this girl is a twin so she has to hide and everyone in eden has brown implants in there eyes so thats how you tell if your a citizen of Eden .if this girl is seen she will be killed and one day this girl escapes and…thats all i know

I have read all the Roald Dahl books. I love the BFG. When your a bit older try Geek Girl as they are +11 but if you are advanced give them a try now. If you aren’t keen go back to them in a couple years and you might see them differently.
