They are very good for advanced readers as they use a complex range of vocabulary. They can drag a bit but when they get to the conflict the speed picks up. Always start with the first. I read them when I was 9 and loved them.

Amazingly good i did get upset in voyage of the dawn treader and the last one but there still awesome.
