Hi, I am stuck on what to read! Can anyone give me a good book? My favourite books are about adventure but without to much drama in them. My favourite authors are Lauren Child and David Walliams, but I’d like to try someone new. Also, can anyone recommend books for 8-9 year olds, as I need a present for my sisters birthday.

You really need to read Enid Blyton books. They are really good especially Malory Towers. I have read the Malory Towers series and the Naughtiest Girl series to and I am reading the Famous Five at the moment! Good luck with your reading!

have read all of the famous five and the secret seven. I love Enid Blyton too!!! Malory Towers was great and i almost cried when I finished the sixth one because it was the last one.

Hey.
I’ve just finished reading Tom Gates books and they were so….. so….
So….. that I couldn’t even describe it. He just inspires me so much and I love to read books about him. Especially when I am bored. I also go to visit J3 library everyday. Like this if you visit your local library every day. Reading is fun.

I read most of the books during school term but I’ve read summer stories by Enid Blyton, Candyfloss by Jaqueline Wilson and Wave me Goodbye by Jaqueline Wilson so far this hols. I love their books especially Enid Blyton
