I definatly recommend any Ross welford books. They are an amazing read and I think anyone 8 and over would love it. I am currently reading his book called what not to do if you turn invisible

I’ve read that book it is absolutely awesome! I’ve also just finished Time travelling with a hamster and I loved it! You should definitely read them they are great.
