Switchers by Emma Thompson is a great summer hols read it isn’t too long but also not too short it is about a girl and a boy who can change into any animals!!!!!!!!!it is aimed at age 8-12 hope I’ve not given too much of a spoiler

I totally recommend anything by Jacqueline Wilson I particularly love the series set in Victorian times but my fav book by her is Katy which is about how a really sporty girl has an accident which changes her life forever
