Reviews

The book, Five Go Off To Camp, is about five children, Anne, Julian, George, Dick and Timmy (the dog). The five go off to camp together in the Moors, and while they were camping, an old man told them about these spook trains that run at night time. The trains appear, then disappear into the night. Or do they? The children go to the yard one night, and discover the truth about the spook trains... I really like the book because it was full of adventures and mysteries, but I did get a bit confused near the end when Timmy falls down a hole, but then appears next to George. My favourite character is Timmy, the dog, because he is so crazy and everyone and everything just seems better when he is around. And he seems like such a great pet, and friend to have. I would recommend the book to someone else because it was really mysterious/ interesting and so fun to read that it was hard to put the book down!
