Famous Five: Five Have A Mystery To Solve: Book 20

Personally I liked Anne most because I liked how everyone thought of her as a mouse but actually she could be a tiger and she was one twice! I liked the stile of the book very much and I liked the ‘ mystery ‘ of when Wilfred’s pipe disappeared and you were not sure wether it was George because she didn’t like Timmy being near him. I liked the tales that Lucas from the golf course was telling the 6 about and how Timmy kept on finding golf balls In a bush. I thought it was funny when the bed of good collapsed when Anne sat on it and I actually got a bit scared when Dick saw the gold statues and expected them to talk I was a bit frightened because I thought they were like guards. I VERY MUCH enjoyed the book.

I loved this book. My favourite character was Wilfred because he can play a tune and lots of animals will come to him. I would recommend this book for 6-18 for it is thrilling.

This book was very good because there was a boy who had a pipe and he could summon lots of animals. I also liked it because the Famous Five hired a boat and the sea was very rough and they got washed up on a very strange island where they found lots and lots of gold.

It was a bit scary at parts. Anne was my favourite character. It was funny when Anne suddenly turned into a tiger at the end of the book. I found it funny when Dick pushed a table onto the two mean men with guns. I would probably not recommend this book to my friends because it is a bit of a scary one.
