A heartwarming story about a little girl who learns an important environmental lesson. When Sally pulls a limpet off a rock at the beach, it sticks to her finger - and nothing she or her family or her friends do can unstick it. Sally's teacher says that limpets live on the same rock for twenty years. So will Sally ever get the limpet off her finger?

Poor limpet. You should leave animals alone. But it was happy to go home.

I liked this book. I liked that when Sally did manage to get the limpet off her finger she took it back to where she had found it.

Great book. Good talking points about how people feel when things happen to them and also thinking about how mummy and daddy will feel at the end

I love rock pooling just like Sally. I found lots of limpet shells on the beach at the Isle of Wight.

This is one of my favourite books. I like it when she gets the limpet off her hand and walks home along the beach.

My favourite part is when Sally runs over the sandcastles and a man's big tummy to get to the sea!

My favourite part is when she goes back to the sea and puts her hand in the water and the limpet comes off! She was naughty though for running away on her own and running over a man's stomach!

I liked this book because it reminds me of going to the beach and collecting things from the rock pools. Also i think that Sally should have kept the Limpet where it was. The book is a story that the children in my class are using today for their online learning. I am recommending the whole reading challenge to my class today in fact KS1. We do read and cover this book as part of our summer topic in class.
