This books is great. I enjoyed hearing about the mysterious wreckers along the coast whilst I was in Cornwall.

This story was a nice story because I quite liked the smuggling theme, but it became a bit monotonous. My favourite character was Mrs Penruthlun because she was a very jolly character who liked feeding the children and a bit of hard work!

I really enjoy reading the famous five books there is always an adventure coming closer as you turn every page.! The main characters are Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timmy the dog. Finding adventure everywhere they look. I would recommend it to people who love adventures and being caught up in an unpredictable amazing book.

I really enjoyed Anne's role in this book. My favourite bit was when the children got captured but Timmy the dog helped them escape.

It’s another exciting adventure for the famous five! They go down to Cornwall for a holiday and come across a mysterious light shining from a ruined tower in the middle of a dark stormy night. Who is it ? Who is it signalling too ? Or is it just their imagination?

I liked this book because the friends found a secret route that led to the farm where they were staying. They uncovered drug smugglers and solved a mystery. My favourite character was Yan because he rescued the friends got trapped in the secret passages.
