I thought it was cool because there was a man who wanted to buy the farm, demolish and take it to another country. There was a castle on the farm and under the castle are some cellars which had lots of gold and treasure in. The Famous Five had to get there before the man to save the treasure.

Shouty old granddad I was panicking when I thought Junior and Mr Henning was going to steal alll of the treasures but they came back with a fortune great book this!

I thought it was very good and my favourite character was Junior even though he was annoying he was funny because he had breakfast in bed and Timmy pulled him out of bed and George bought up his breakfast and after that he didn’t want breakfast in bed anymore.I would recommend this book to people who like adventures, mysteries and cliffhanger, funny books.

I would recommend this book because It had treasure in it. My favourite part of this book is when the five find the treasure. My favourite character in this book is Anne,anne is helpful,polite and comforting.

I really, really enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Timmy because he was always chasing Junior whenever he annoyed him. I would recommend this book for 6-18 for it is thrilling.

I like this book because the Famous Five find gold, silver, pearls and all types of jewellery underground in a secret passage. An unkind father also wants to find the treasure. When the Famous Five find it, they can't get out and Timmy leads them in another passage to a chapel.

I liked how the five children explored the cellars of the castle and found precious things belonging to the old man in the antique shop who was the great grandpa figure.

I loved this book. There was an underground passage which they went into and found gold. The twins went in the passage with the famous five and they found swords and gold and suits of armour and rings and necklaces. They brought out three swords and great grandad took the biggest one and his friend Mr Finniston came up and the two french people said they would pay lots of money if they could take the things home. My favourite people were the famous five.
