This book is OK, but I preferred most of the other Famous Five books

I loved this book lots and I thought it was a good story because there were lots of characters and It was a mystery because you didn’t know who it was that climbed up the tower and stole the papers belonging to Tinker’s father and how Mr. Wooh and his friend were waiting on Kirrin island for Julian and Dick but actually George and Timmy turned up without Julian’s permission! George has some real pluck to push the men of the heigh ledge in to Kirrin bay ( with Timmy help ) and untie their boat on her own. I loved the book.

The famous five's cook has scarlet fever so they have to go to one of George's father's friend's house who has a son called Tinker. He has a monkey called mischief.

I enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Professor Hayling because he always forgot to go to dinners. I would recommend this book for 6-17 for it is amazing.

I liked the book, it was a nice adventure but I thought it was simple. I liked Georgina the best because she was braver than Dick and Julian. I recommend reading this book.

This book is very good because the the four children and Timmy the dog are going through a mysterious adventure where the Professor’s papers go missing they are determined to find the thief no matter what.I like the bit where George(Georgina)rows out to sea and catches Mr Whoo and another mad man waiting to get the papers off her and then they fall in…It’s a very funny book and I would recommend it.

This is a great Enid Blyton book but I suggest if you haven't already looked or read famous five book one then go back to the begining by reading famous five book one. I rate this book five out of five.
