Railway Rabbits: Fern and the Fiery Dragon is a brilliant story by author Georgie Adams about a family of rabbits who live in the Ripple River Valley near to a steam railway. From the point of view of the rabbits and the other creatures who live around the railway, the steam engine is a fiery red dragon who runs up and down the valley roaring and belching smoke. This story is mainly about Fern, a young buck, and a dog called Toby, who appeared in the first 'Railway Rabbits' book, Wisher and the Runaway Piglet. When a fire breaks out in the wood near Fairweather's Farm Park, the family of rabbits have to run back to their burrow from the nearby cabbage field, so that they are safe. But, unfortunately, Fern gets lost in the thick smoke. But soon, she makes a new friend, and sets off to help out her friend and to find her way home. And meanwhile, did the Red Dragon start the fire as the rabbits predicted from Wisher, or did Wisher's message mean something else entirely...? Any readers aged 7+ will enjoy this fun story, and they will enjoy seeing a steam railway from a different point of view. Enjoy Reading!

It was a hot day and Wisher and her family went to find food and found dozens of cabbages. The woods caught fire. They had to run. Toby was chasing the rabbits. Suddenly Toby was friendly. Fern thought Toby was going to eat him earlier.
