I thought this book was good because it is set in Ancient Roman times and I like the Romans. I liked Lupus because he always does the spying and he always finds the mystery out. I would recommend this book to children who like Ancient Rome.

When Miriam's best friend is accused of not being set free by her now-dead master, Miriam asks Flavia, Nubia, Lupus and Jonathan to help. But then, murders are made and they soon find out it all has something to do with the dead-master's will. It's a fun, mysterious book in the series and I strongly recommend it.
