This book was really interesting.Its about a war happing and this grandma wrote this and gave it to her grandson to read.And this book is really good! Everyone should read this book it's really nice and my favourite character is Adie.One of the men apart of the war.I recommend this book to anyone who's looking for one it's amazing and really interesting

This book is just as good as any Michael Morpurgo. It`s exiting and full of adventure as welll as making you really feel emotion. Everyone should read this book.

I found the story interesting because it was set in the war and there was a cat in it. I would recommend the book to those who like historical novels and cat lovers.

I loveddd this book, but I do get sad when I found out that Lily's parents/grandad had drowned Tip's kittens. I really like....the cats (Like I mean, cats are just the best, ok?) Again set by my teacher so yeah. I found a few words weird like:Tickety-boo and Boowie. It seemed strange when Lily told her grandson that she had married this dude who was 18, when she was 12.. But you do get used to it. Amazing. Read It.

I liked this book as Lily( the grandmother) explains her childhood about the tragic war and how Tips goes missing and Lily sets out to try find him. My favourite part is when everyone comes back from the war and she is reunited with her family and hopes Adie survived for as long as the days travelled by. I would recommend this book
