Sophie attends Pony camp and is partner with Shine her horse. She discovers lots about riding a horse and trains for the competition at the end of Pony camp. But on the way ribbons get stolen and she discover a close friend Beth may of taken them , however Beth has challenges at home and tells Sophie of her issues and Sophie has a new baby brother Allbie, which she found challenging as her Mum and Dad spend more time with her baby brother than Sophie. I like Shine the pony best in this book. This book interested me as it was in a diary style. Yes, only if they are involved in horse riding, as the book give a lot of detail and glossary of horse riding words.

I love ponies and horses and I love that the horse was named “Shine”. I wish I could go to a pony camp as well. Ponies are extra fun because you can ride them.
