I like it because it had cats in it. Cara are my favourite. I would recommend to everyone who likes cats. Verity is the girl in the book and her cat is called Mabel it was interesting as it had some nice things about Egypt in there

I really liked this book. My favourite part was when Verity got a new kitten called Baby after her old cat Mabel died. My favourite character was Mabel because she was lazy and funny. I would recommend this book!

The cat mummy was a good book it is about a girl and her mum died and then her cat Maybel dies. At school she is learning about the Egyptians so she wraps her cat up in ribbon an puts lavender bath salts inside to make Maybel smell better. She draws Egyptian pictures on her and Maybels favourite things. It was really good!

It was sad because both the mum and the cat died. It interested me because she tried to turn her cat into a cat mummy and her teacher said that the Egyptians do that and not people, but she did not listen and tried to do it herself. I would recommend it to someone else because it will make you cry but it is a good ending. You have to read it!

It was a very good book and I really enjoyed it. It was a bit sad that the girl never new her mum because she died when the little girl (Verity) was a baby. It was also very sad that her cat died. I liked Verity very much and I would recommend it to 8+ as younger kids may not like the idea of reading something that has death in it and it may make them a bit sad (especially if they have a cat even though all people die.

Verity's cat dies in her wardrobe so Verity thinks that her cat will come back to life but in a mummy form!

Tissue book is about a girl called verity and she has an cat called mabEl but one day after making a mess all over the floor she goes missing verity is so sad. You should really read it

Cat mummy is a great book for children 8 and under though I'm over 8 and I loved. It is fantastic to read with your family.
