Magical story about a mythical creature that grants wishes to the four children Rosalind, Robbie, Maudie and Smash. Interesting how it connects the story by E. Nesbit 'Five children and It'. My favourite character was Rosalind because she was always quite mature, kind and gentle to the Psammead and Maudie was my second favorite because she was cute and sweet (the youngest as well) but also misunderstanding. I reccomend this book to people who like magical tales and fantasy. I found it rather interesting that a consequence would occur (no spoilers) later that day.

I LOVE Jacquline Wilson So this book was obviously amazing to me! Divorced parents, Tragic parts and and based of The classic story "Five children and it". It was incredible! I mean you can't take a story where (SPOILER ELERT) a girl visits the Edwardian times and ends up in workhouse for playing with a girl and call it bad. My favourite character is either Smash or The Psammead Himself. I would recommend to confident readers (Like me) And people who aren't very sensitive.

Jaqueline Wilson is a fantastic author and this is one of her little amount of ok books . It's an amzing book i reccomend it to people who like to read about silly sories.

it was funny it was kind of sad at some parts but my favourite part was when Robbie was swinging around it was fiction and the girl was reading 4 children and it but she found it in a sand pit.

It was a fabulous book filled with lots of surprises in every page! I could not put it down. My favourite character was Rosalind. I would recommend this to everyone!

I think the being famous wish was very cool and it's nice that Smash and Rosalind like each other now. I can't believe they went back in time to see Anthea, Jane, Robert and Cyril. Maudie is cute but her wish for Jack and Jill and all the other people from the nursery rhymes wasn't the best but she liked it. I would definitely recommend it to lots of people.

This was a good book because it was kind of clashing two similar but different storires together and I enjoyed that. I'd reccommend this book to people who like magic and adventure.

i loved this book, i love the way the first sentence is the last at the same time. i also love the way the siblings are enemy's at first then they dont want to be separated at the end. my favorite character is Rosalind because we both love reading

It was a really good book though it was really sad when Ros got stuck in time and sent to the workhouse.I will read it again sometime.I would recommend it to people who like magic and fantasy.

The Four children and it is an adventurous story. The family first decided they have a picnic in the Okshott Woods but the children reluctantly went. Later on, they discovered a new creature (it). From that day onwards the first adventure began. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy fantasy and adventure stories!
