MYTHS & LEGENDS ANCIENT EGYPTIAN
The retelling of seven ancient Egyptian myths, placing them in context of their time and place in the world. In one of the stories Rhampsinitus built a stone house to protect his wealth. When treasure was stolen, he tricked the clever thief into confession, but he in turn tricked him back. To aid children, brief biographies of the heroes, villains and gods who appear in the tales are given. The atmospheric illustrations are intended to transport children to a fantasy kingdom of larger-than-life pharaohs.
Reviews

I really liked the myths in the book but thought there could have been more stories about the different gods.
