Robbie McLeod and a wolf cub, both orphaned, venture far from their birthplace, a land of rebellious fighters and vicious redcoats. There is little constancy in Robbie's adventurous life, save for the companionship of his wolf. But at last Robbie finds a place where he can peacefully make his home.

It was fiction and it was really amazing because I love animals and fiction but I wish there was a series for the book

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes history, adventure and animals. a heartwarming tale during the Scottish rebellion at the time of bonnie prince Charlie with ties to the present day.

It's a good book. I can't see anything bad about it. I like wolves. Some parts were exciting.

It was very exciting reading about boy called Robbie and his adventures with wolf he found. Reading about them becoming best friends. I liked the wolf Charlie best. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about wolfs, friendship and sea adventures.

I really liked this book, it had A lot of action in it all the way through to the end. It's about a boy called Robbie who is on the run and finds a wolf cub and then it's all about their adventures together to find a new home. I like most stories that have animals in them.

This book is a wonderful fiction story about an orphan (Robbie McLeod) finds an orphaned wolf cub and vows to take care of him. It is a lovely read by Michael Morpurgo and I would recommend it to others.
