I loved this book as I love dogs. It was sad that best friends had to leave one another but was lucky to get a dog in the process. Very kind Mummy to do that.

I liked it because Anna and her dog Alfie found eachother and were very similar. The story had a nice flow and a very happy ending.

Alfie the non barking pup finds his voice when Anna finds hers in the school harvest play. My favourite character is Alfie & I would recommend it to someone else.

I liked this book because it was happy and sad at the same time because a girl called Anna and her friend Sophie were best friends so close nearly sisters but Sophie had to go to France and Anna was very sad a few days later they got a puppy so Anna wasn't sad and that's how the story was happy and sad at the same time.

I think you should read this book because to start with Alfie was very quiet and sad because he had no one to look after him. As the book went on he found someone to care for him and he found his voice.

I loved finding out how being parted from your best friend means you can make other friends. I've wanted my own puppy just like Anna.
