Bambi is born as the Young Prince of the Forest. He grows up and meets Thumper, a rabbit, and Flower, a skunk. He learns all about the forest, the different seasons, and the dangers of man. Bambi’s mother is killed by a hunter, so his father takes him under his wing. As a young buck, Bambi falls in love with Faline. He then has to rescue her from a pack of hunting dogs, survive a bullet wound, and escape a raging forest fire caused by a campfire. Spring comes again to the forest, and Bambi and Faline have twin baby deer, and Bambi takes over from his father as the Great Prince of the Forest.
