A short mystery that’s high on suspense! This is a perfect page turner if you want to finish a thriller in one sitting, especially for reluctant and struggling readers. Cool, edgy crime detective duo, Jas and Sam are teens who solve spine-chilling cases – using equal measures of humour and heroism along the way! In this mystery, ‘The Crawling Hand’, Jas and Sam hear a knock on the door of their detective agency. It looks like no one is there but then they notice a skeleton’s hand on the floor! The hand can crawl, it can talk and it is in urgent need of help to find its missing body. There’s a case to be solved! I found it very enjoyable to read because it was a bit spooky. My favorite character was Sam because she was sassy. I would recommend this book to someone that would enjoy having a funny but spooky book.

Sam was my favourite character because she can be funny but she is also really smart. She reminds me of me. I really enjoy spooky stories so would recommend it to others if they like that type of book too.
