I think the story was a bit slow and when it got to battling the beast it took over half the book. My favourite character was tom because of his amazing courage. I think my friends Lincon and Jason would like this book.

This book is very good it has lots of cliff hangers. It is very good if you have read the other beast quest books, if you haven't it is still an enjoyable read.
