This was another in the same series of Beast Quest books. I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the previous books in the series because the beast was technically invincible because it was a liquid Swamp Man and Tom had to lure him out of the swamp to make him solid. I would still recommend this book to anyone who likes Beast Quest books.

It’s the best book in the series so far. It’s the beast that is making me love the book. the beast’s name is murk the swamp man. He is the only one of the beasts that are invincible. well at least when it isn’t in the sunlight

The villagers were sad because they needed to sell gold for food but Tom had destroyed the mine. The guy with an eye patch stole The first time Tom had a glimpse of Murk, Silver and his captor were ten paces away from the swamp beast. Once Murk was out of the marsh with slimy mud, he couldn't hypnotize Tom with his red eyes. The ingredients for Tom's mother, Freya, was the vines on Murk's neck.

I like this book because it contains a slimy green creature with Tom and Elenna. Murk is a swamp creature that lurks in a swamp and blends in so much that you could get pulled into the slimy acid.
