It’s Jani’s first day at school and she’s nervous. Will the other monkeys be friendly? Will they all stare at her? Jani is in a wheelchair, and this makes her different. But, thanks to her sense of cheekiness, she makes friends and has a very nice first day at school indeed.

Green bananas are divided into short, simple stories to develop reading techniques over a number of sessions. They are suitable for NC Level 1 readers. Green Bananas are carefully designed with education in mind, supporting children’s understanding of how to read longer books. Green bananas only use one clause in each sentence and rely on dialogue and speech bubbles to encourage reading aloud.

It is a good book. It about the story of a monkey who went to school for first time and how she felt.how she made friendship with other classmates. Jain,s and olive I like much. It is interesting for me. I recommend to my sister.

It was Jani's first day of school. She was shy to go. Her friends were Abe and Olivia and her Teacher's name was Miss Mango. Jani didn't like being stared at. Jani was very strong because she's been pushing her wheel.

I liked this book , jari was great. I liked the part when she went round and round on her wheel chair also when she dressed as Mrs Mango.

Jani was my favourite because she had a chair with wheels. Her legs were not very strong but she was very cool and raced around in her chair. She wheeled very very fast.
