Life in the small fishing village in the south of Calormen is all that young Shasta knows until, one day, he overhears his father planning to sell him into slavery to a stranger and discovers that he is not a fisherman’s son after all. Things become even more surprising when the stranger’s horse starts to have a conversation with him.

I thought when i looked at the tittle it was gonna be boring but actually it was really interesting. The funniest part on what i read is that Shasta woke up to a long headed horse. If it was fiction i would read all the facts about all the animals that Shasta saw.I liked Shasta the best because he seems to be a nice guy and a funny one too.It interested me in fighting and being brave on what the cost.I would recommend it to everyone so they can learn how to stick up for yourself and to be brave.

It interested me because shasta was a prince and even he did not know he was a prince. I liked Corrin best because he was very funny.
