I thought it was exciting because you never know what’s gonna happen in the next chapter. My favourite character was Mr Manners because he got a right old good joke on Sid Creedy.

This books is made up of three different stories. My favourite one was The Marble Crusher, which is also the title of the book. A new boy came to the school and believed everything his friends said so one day a friend played a trick on him about a mysterious Japanese machine called marble crusher. Near the end of the story Albert, the new boy, took his revenge and with a bit of help from the headmaster made the mean boy actually believe the marble crusher was real. I would recommend this book to all my friends and especially those who may be sad because someone is making them angry.
