I wish I could be a mermaid with Emily. Even though her adventures are really challenging I think I can still help. This was another great story and am reading the next one too.

This is a great book made by Liz Kessler. It lives up to it’s name, The land of the midnight sun. Paticularly about mermaids and best friends. Her friendship is very strong. Also about the girl who is her next door neighbor.

Emily is a semi-mer, which means half mermaid, half human. She and her boyfriend, Arran, who is also a semi-mer, are sent on a mission for Neptune, the king of the seas. It's magical and scary. I like Emily's adventures and I like how Neptune suddenly remembers about Nijord and that Archie is actually on Nijord's side.
