Penny dreadful This book was a fiction. The person I liked the best was Cosmo because he always says funny things and is very kind. At the end of chapter 1 he shared the raffia owl with Penny. I would recommend this book to kids who are interested in fascinating, adventurous books.

Uh-oh! Penny Dreadful (of course, that's not her REAL name, only her dad's JOKE) is back and this time she's creating even more trouble than before! Penny is a funny, feisty girl of around 7-8 who always seems to be a 'magnet for disaster'. This time she is intent on winning her school talent show along with her best friend, Connor. Penny knows that she can win, but is she really a brilliant magician? Is sawing the annoying Bridget Grimes in half going to end in tears? Plus, cooking is harder than it looks! Are Penny's cake baking skills really Bake-Off standard? And WHY does EVERYTHING have to go wrong for her and her BRILLIANT IDEAS TM? Penny Dreadful's fourth book is hilarious and easy to read with wonderful pictures. I love reading about her mishap adventures. My favourite character was Penny, of course, because you can't help feeling awfully sorry for her when things don't QUITE go to plan... I rated this book 4/5 stars because it was packed with humour, but it wasn't in my age range. I would recommend this book to children aged 6-8 who like funny and adventure books.

I rated this book a 5 because there is a girl called Bridget Grimes and she got sawed in half by Penny and she didn't like it. My favourite character is Daisy as she said she would be turning over a new leaf but she didn't and said something nasty! I would recommend this book to my friends because everyone is funny and hilarious.

I have the book under my bed and have only read a little bit and already can’t put it down. If you have heard of the books Agatha parrot, these are just like them. I would recommend this to people who like diaries and chatty language. It’s really funny too

It was really sad for Penny because she had a really mean sister and people just did not like her. She was only trying to express herself and she was trying to be normal in her own way.
