Something strange is afoot on the moors above Castle Key – sinister noises, lights in the sky and mysterious figures moving in the dark. Are aliens invading, as Jack suspects? Could it be smugglers, as Emily thinks? Or is there another explanation? Scott, Jack, Emily and Drift the dog are on the case!

I loved it- though I wish Helen Moss could have ended with a little more excitement.

I was shocked when I discovered Dotty was pretending to be ill when she is actually the Motorbike man (AKA Steve).

This book is exciting because Emily, Jack, Scott, and Drift have two mysteries to solve. When Emily speaks to Miss Wendover she realises that the two cases could be linked. This is a great book so I would recommend this book to someone else.

I like how Scott Jack and Emily try really hard to solve the mystery of the Phantom lights and what caused them. My favoyrite character is Emily because she is very brave and organised with her investigating skills.

I recommend this book for children who like Enid Blyton books, and those who like mystery and adventure books. I find this a really good book as the author joins normal life with adventures, rather Enid Blyton stories are imagination.
