I think this is a good book, because you learn how an army of Gladiators took on the Roman soldiers.

this interested me because it intrigued me even if it wasn't a very long story. I liked how it shows how some people really don't like being in slavery

I liked the book because the Romans were trying to fight and kill Spartacus and it was a very good story.

It was a scary, bloody fighting story! But it was very interesting.

People should read Spartacus because it is a rather violent and interesting story where a brave man called Spartacus leads a brave and strong army. One of Spartacus's friends called Crixus is in his army but he sadly dies. Spartacus once was a gladiator but escaped. Soon enough Spartacus found a place to sleep. It was on a volcano! Then the next day a huge army of Romans came to attack Spartacus's army. But Spartacus's army fought them of. This went on for a long time. Until half of Spartacus's army died including Crixus. Later in Rome a famous Roman Empire had a Roman army much bigger than Spartacus's army. Soon after Spartacus died and hasn't been seen since. It is a good story to read because Spartacus does not get angry easily and it is good to be calm. Spartacus was also very tough and you could be just like him.
