This book is honestly like one of the most amazing books in the entire world. It’s so interesting and so cool to read something that’s set in Victorian times but without really hard to read language and writing. It’s also so interesting to learn about the Shadowhunters we know’s ancestors and stuff and we meet such amazing characters too. My favorite character is Will Herondale because he’s absolutely hilarious and such an amazing Shadowhunter and he brought so many positive changes to the Shadow World. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone but after reading The Mortal Instruments first because it’s more interesting when we’re connecting the dots between what’s happening back then and what’s happening now.
