This is book is in a series of fifteen (+ 2 from Pamela Butchart) books about 7 children, the secret seven, they club together to solve mysteries together and are very good at it. This time the seven children: Barbra, Janet, Pam, Jack, Colin, George and Peter the leader as well as Janet and Peter’s dog Scamper must solve another mystery can they? I would certainly recommend this book to anyone reading independently or being read as it if well thought out, fun and a hard mystery.

This was a really exciting book. My favourite part was when they searched all the scarecrows. the cave was really cool. I would definitely recommend it.

I actually would rate this 6 stars as it was my favourite of the secret seven books. The secret cave in it made it extra exciting. It was really exciting because the secret seven got their things stolen.
