Pingu Looks After the Egg
Mum leaves Pingu the penguin in charge of the egg she’s laid, and he thinks that sitting on the egg is boring. But soon it’s leading him a dance all over the igloo, and Pingu is terrified that his parents will be back before he catches it. The book is illustrated with stills from the BBC series.

Pingu is asked to look after an egg. He is bored and doesn’t want to sit on the egg. The egg starts to dance and play when Pingu plays his favourite pop music. The egg causes a lot of trouble for Pingu. A charming read.
