Everyone loves the wickedly dry sense of humour of The Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine.

Okay, Okay. So hang me. I killed the bird. For pity’s sake, I’m a cat.

Poor Ellie is horrified when Tuffy drags a dead bird into the house. Then a mouse. But Tuffy can’t understand what all the fuss is about.

Who on earth will be the next victim to arrive through the cat-flap? Can soft-hearted Ellie manage to get her beloved pet to change his wild, wild ways before he ends up in even deeper trouble?

The hilarious antics of Tuffy and his family as told by the killer cat himself.

It was kind of funny. My favourite character was tuffy. It was a bit confusing so I only give it 3 stars out of 5.

I gave it a three star because when I read it at school in whole class reading it was quite boring and a little bit funny at the same time. Because it was just about a cat killing other animals. And even tho it was a little tiny bit funny at times not a lot of people in my class liked it either. But that’s just my opinion because some people liked it in my class because you mite like as much.

I thought it was a bit funny because the cat kept killing things.

It got a bit boring towards the end but overall it was really good. My favourite character was the bunny because he was really cute. I would recommend this to my Mum because we have cats.

I liked the bit in the vets where the cat scared the baby gerbil!

I liked Ellie best because she was sweet. I liked all the story. I would recommend it to someone else.

The book was okay, the cat killed the bird, neighbours were angry. A bit hard to understand the story.

This book is about a cat what he does from Monday to Saturday. He brings a dead bird through the cat flap on Monday, a dead rat on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, the next-doors rabbit! The family thinks the cat killed the bird, the rat, and the next-doors rabbit.
