The second book in the fantastic Monstrous Maud series, written by A.B. Saddlewick. A miscast spell has created a jungle of man-eating plants across the entire sports pitch at Rotwood Academy and the pupils are now forced to share a field with the only other local school – Primrose Towers.

I thought it was funny when lots of dangerous plants went into the schools field and they couldn't have their sports day.

I think people should read this book if they like books about monsters and one normal girl at a school called Rotwood School. It is not too complicated or detailed but still gives a lot of info and discovery. For me it was pretty good.

I recommend this book to others because it is an adventure book. If you like books by A . B . Saddlewick you will enjoy this book. it is an engaging story. My favourite character was Quentin because he is always really scared. My favourite parts were when the Montagues had Poisionous Penelope round for dinner and when Rotwood school went to sports day with Primrose Towers. This is a spooky story.
