Delphie and the Magic Ballet Shoes

I would recommend this book to Girls who like ballet (like me)This book is about a girl called Delphie who really wants to get into Madame Zara's Ballet school for Girl's and is delighted when Madame Zara Invite's here in to her ballet school and give's her a pair of ballet shoes. I won't tell you the rest as it's a surprise. Happy reading!!!

I chose this book because of the ballerina on the front cover. I go to ballet lessons too and so thought I’d enjoy this book. It was about Delphie who wanted to goto ballet lessons but ends up going in to the nut cracker story with her magic ballet shoes and helps to rescue the soldier and the toys. My favourite character is Delphie and the sugar plum fairy.

I liked the bit when Madame Za-Za gave the magic red ballet shoes to Delphie. Whenever her shoes glowed she was whisked off to Enchantia, a magical world where all of the ballet people live.

I thought that Delphie would get told of when Madame Za-Za opened the door and saw Delphie copying the girls that were taking lessons there. I liked Delphie because she freed the Nutcracker from King's Rat spell with the strongest magic, dancing. I would recommend it to Amber, Ruby and Freya because they take Irish dancing lessons and compete in lots and lots and lots and lots of competitions!

I would recommend this book to my friends Prim and Saphie because I think they would love it! Delphie loves ballet and she practices it nearly everyday in the garden. Her mum and dad don't let her go to ballet classes and when she saw Madame Zaza's ballet school, she copied what the girls were doing in the class. My favourite bit was when Delphie appeared in a cool theatre and she sees actors from the Nut Cracker because Madame Zaza gave her some magical ballet shoes. Robin

This is a fiction book. I liked Delphie the best because she is kind and caring. On other reason I like delphie the best is because I do ballet and she does ballet. I would recommend this book to someone else.
