When Scott, Jack and Emily stumble upon some bones in the quarry above Castle Key, they’re convinced they’ve discovered the gruesome remains of a murder victim! But the bones turn out to be much, much older than that – could they be dinosaur bones? Or are they the last earthly remains of a real dragon?
Rival scientists fight to prove each other wrong, while the friends are determined to uncover the truth – with a little help from Drift the dog, of course!

Its about a dinosaur kids found in a quarry. Its a page turner. You just want to read a bit more and find out what's happened. Somebody wants it to be a hoax.

I thought this book was very good. My favourite character is Emily, she Scott, Jack and drift. Drift the dog actually digs up a skeleton, as dogs do… They think they have stumbled on a remains of a murder victim. Anyway, the bones where defiantly weren’t human full stop. Scientists were trying to prove their theories. I will recommend this because this is a mystery book with adventure squeezed in, my kind of book!

This book is exciting because Drift finds what looks like a dinosaur skeleton. They show it to Professor Atherton who is sure that they have found a megalosaurus but unfortunately another scientist claims it is a hoax. The friends must prove that it is real before the diggers start to work. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else.

I like Jack the most as because he is very funny but if I could choose an animal as well i would choose Drift (Emily's dog) as he is very loyal and he works hard.I chose to read this book because I have read a few of the other books in this series and I found them all very thrilling, and when I saw this in the library I decided to read it.I also took another book from this series out from the library as soon as I saw it, I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries and people who have other books in this series. If I were to recommend this book to a certain age group I would say ages 7-12 as long as they enjoyed mysteries and fiction books
