THE FOUR GRANNIES. Two children are left alone for a couple of days, while their parents go away on a business trip. This book was called freaky families but it wasn’t that freaky and it’s not scary. I liked the bit when Auntie Bea kept saying ‘we’re having a lovely day’ to a Scottish soldier every time he tried to speak. And then she squeezed herself out of her umbrella and it looked like she had a big skirt round her neck. She was my favourite character.

I like the whole story, but which granny was which was very confusing. It was pretty good so I would recommend it to my friends.

It didnt feel freaky to me. Angustus Flint is quite mean to the children-he stops them from playing the piano as he hates noise. The boys decided that the sausage dog could get under the cupboards more easily if he had one of the girls rollerskates strapped to his middle. Flint trod on the skate and zoomed down the stairs.

It was very funny and I enjoyed seeing the 4 grannies and Erg with his praying machine turned all of them into 1 granny.

This wasn't the best book I have read, there are two stories in it and they are a little creepy, especially the one when four grannies turn into a super granny! But I liked the second story because it has a bit of magic in it.
