Early Readers are stepping stones from picture books to reading books. A blue Early Reader is perfect for sharing and reading together. A red Early Reader is the next step on your reading journey. Twit is a raggedy little owl whose brothers love to play tricks on him. It gets him into all sorts of trouble! But that all changes when Twit meets Norma, a clever little vole. All of a sudden, Twit's brothers had better watch out - Norma and Twit might just have a trick of their own to play... A charming, heart-warming Early Reader story from Steve Cole, author of the Astrosaurs books, and a talented DOCTOR WHO script writer.

The book is about an owl called Twit who was a little different. Twit looked a bit different and wasn’t very wise. Twit’s brothers loved to play tricks on him. Some of the tricks are funny but not very nice. Twit then meets a friend and learns to stick up for himself, he plays a trick back to teach them a lesson.

I really liked it but it was really repetitive when the twit listened to his older brothers but my favourite part was when the twit met his new underground friend .but I wonder how the older brothers got tricked when the twit pretendid to fly even though you could obviously see the sticky thing what is being used to hold up the twit.

Twit was always being picked on by his brothers until he met a Vole who encouraged him to stick up for himself. It was very funny because twit stuck himself up to a tree. My favorite character was Twit the owl.

I loved the little birdy twit, because he was kind and friendly. I felt a bit sorry for him because his brothers were rude to him and making fun of him.
