Egyptian Tales: The Gold in the Grave
Terry Deary, Helen Flook
Tutankhamen has been buried in his rocky tomb. But there is a plot to rob the grave of its vast wealth as soon as possible after the funeral. A motley gang of villains have all the skills they need to undertake the crime – the key member of the team is young Paneb, who is small enough to slip through the tunnel and into the funeral chamber.
Reviews

It was fiction. I would recommend it to year 3 and 2.

Good books - glad I have 4 of them from this series. They are more fiction than his Horrible History books.

it is good for Egyptian fans. lots of info, it also like makes you think what happened to tutanchamun's grave because in the tunnel that leads to the tomb there is said to be a bag of 7 rings which the child on the front cover dropped
