My favourite story in the Greek myths is Perseus and Medusa. It was weird though when the witches wanted his eyes, it was a bit creepy. I did like it when he cuts Medusa’s head off. I love the idea of Medusa because she is so powerful. There is one problem in Greek myths in that there is not much strong female representation.

This is another book I have reread - I like the stories and how the Greeks created gods to make sense of things happening in their world, like the sun passing across the skin each day.

I loved the stories. It helped me understand the real story behind a lot of the characters used today in computer games. It was also good to see where the real meaning of the words we use today are from. I especially liked the myth about Theseus that we learnt in school and also King Midas is a character in Minecraft. I will tell all my friends to learn about the Greek myths.
