My favourite bit of this book is when Captain Haddock has a mirage of Tintin being a whiskey bottle and grabs Tintin’s neck. My favourite character is Captain Haddock because he’s obsessed with all the whiskey.

. The story is about a reporter called Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy. When Tintin is walking down a street one day, Snowy finds a tin of crab which once contained the drug opium, later when his two detective friends give him news of fake coins and African drug smugglers. Tintin decides to clear this up. This is a very exiting action packed adventure book and is a great read for ages 9 and above.
