I liked it because maisie's friend was scared that the house she was staying in was haunted. Maisie worked out that the 'ghost' was a cat and that the smell was leaking pipes. My favourite character was Eddie because when he was scared his fur pricked up. I would recommend it to people who don't believe in ghosts.(so it won't scare you.)

Very mysterious recommend for 7+. Maisie is a detective and she is going to the country but a boy says Wisteria Lodge is haunted. Alice think she had seen a ghost cat! And Alice's bracelet and miss Sidebotham spectacles go missing.its up to Maisie to solve two mystery!can she do it ?

this is a great story. i read it in 1 night and it is very intriging. i think it is ages 7+ and my favourite character was eddie the dog who was funny.

This is a very good book . I really enjoyed reading it,its about a Victorian girl that had gone to the country with her best friend .next they figure out that the house they are staying in is haunted.So they want to solve the mystery.
