The enchanting debut novel from the immensely popular SCHOOL FOR STARS series, written by sisters Holly and Kelly Willoughby. This book is for every girl who has ever danced in front of the mirror, sung into a hairbrush, or dreamed of becoming a star.

We are the Willoughby sisters and we have a story to share with you about one of the most important things in the world – friendship.

On the first day of term at L’Etoile, School for Stars, twins Maria and Molly Fitzfoster meet Pippa Burrows who’s won a song-writing scholarship to the school. The talented trio share the same dreams of super-stardom and become best friends. But will their friendship stand up against Lucifette Marciano’s plans to wreck their chances and claim fame for herself?

This book is GLEE for 9+ and is perfect for fans of BALLET SHOES and MALLORY TOWERS.

This was a good book and quite similiar to books like Malory towers! In this book, the twins make friends with Pippa a girl who has incredible talent, and a secret! However not everyone is friendly and Lucinda (lucifette) surprisingly offers Pippa the chance of her life but the twins realise something isn't quite write... however can they help in time?

This book was so fun. I loved the mystery part of it, but it also made me love the idea of a school for stars! I love how talented and clever the girls are and how it all pulls together perfectly, finally defeating evil Luciffette! The twins are such clear, vibrant characters and I love how all characters have their own individual journeys that link into the main plot... Finally, I love the little notes every now and then to the 'story seeker', it's such a good idea and really adds to the story. I give this a 5/5 and would recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries, interesting, abnormal books and is aged between 7-12.

I really enjoyed reading this book, as it was full with morals. The main theme in the book is friendship, and it is shown at many different times in the narrative. I read this book after reading and watching the Malory Towers Series, as they both had kids going through boarding school and I enjoyed reading about that. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fun books, with morals. I would say this book is aimed for 9-14 year olds.

It’s the first term at L’Etoile, a School for Stars, And Maria and Molly (the same name as me) Fitzfoster who I like, then meet Pippa Burrows a girl I also like. She has won a song-writing scholarship to the school. Their a really talented trio I think and they also share the same dreams of super-stardom and They all become best friends which I think is good because they have the same talents so they should be best friends. At the start of the last chapter I keep thinking will their friendship stand up against Lucifette Marciano, who is actually Lucinda and is the daughter of the famous Blue and Serafina Marciano who are Hollywood stars, who’s plans are waiting to wreck their fame and have the fame for herself? Maria, Molly and Pippa come up with a clever plan to stop this from happening.

My favourite character was Pippa as she was very different than other children at the school.
