Harry Potter is an ordinary boy who lives in a cupboard under the stairs at his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon’s house, which he thinks is normal for someone like him who’s parents have been killed in a ‘car crash’. It was a good book because it keeps you on the edge of your chair with lots of suspense. My favourite part was when Harry Potter got onto the quidditch team and to be the youngest player for a hundred years

It is a fiction book. The character that I like the most is that of Hermione because though she is annoying at times, she is also very clever. The characters that I did not like are those of Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia because they are mean to Harry. I would recommend this book to someone who hasn't read it.

I have really enjoyed reading this book! I love the way J.K. Rowling has used descriptive language! My favourite part was when Harry defeated Voldemort through Professor Quirrell ! I would recommend this book for children who love adventure stories.
