This book was about a litter of kittens and no one wanted the white one. A girl called Mia had her cat Sandy die and then she took in the white kitten and named it Whiskers as it had such long whiskers! I really enjoyed this book, it was cute!

It was a fiction book. It was about a girl who, her cat sandy had died and she didn't like walking to school because their were so many cats that reminded her of sandy. Her beat friends cat got pregnant and she had the only boy from the litter. He was pure white. Long whiskers and pale blue eyes. He was called whiskers. I liked that her gran bought her whiskers. It made me feel happy reading this book but also sad as the character Mia kept crying because she missed Sandy. I would recommend this book to all the girls to read

This book was OK and it was all about the kitten nobody wanted. I read all the book it was a great book. If it was fiction I would love the kitten more but if it was factual I would like the little boy better. I would reccomened this to starter readers.

I liked Mia and whiskers best and it was cute when whiskers climbed the stairs. At the end when they got to keep the kitten and at the end when whiskers was playing with the wrapping paper because it was Christmas.

Mia and whiskers the kitten were my favourites. I think it was a nice story because you were always thinking something different and you never knew what was going to happen. Though I anticipated some of the things.

Mia still hasn’t got over her cat’s death she had sandy for as long as she can remember and can’t ever imagine having another pet. But one day, just before Christmas, she finds out that her friend’s cat has had kittens. Over the holidays she goes round to play with them. Mia’s parents think she has coped with Tibby’s loss, and surprise her by saying she can have the last kitten, Whiskers. Mia’s not sure she’s ready yet although she loves Whiskers, she feels guilty about replacing Sandy. i would recommend this book for ages 6 and over because it is so cute and emotional
