This is a really good book but I felt really scared for the Famous Five. They were very brave to rescue the little girl from the horrible Sticks. I can't believe that George's Dad didn't realise how horrid the Sticks were to George and the other children. Right meanies. I like all the children but George and Anne are my favorites. George reminds me of my Key Worker and Anne of me. Its good, tense and you have to be brave to like it. But you have to remember that it always is good in the end.

I liked George best. In the story, her mum was ill so the five children were looked after by the Sticks, who treated them badly so the five children ran away from Kirrin cottage to their island.

This was a fiction book and my favourite character was Timmy the dog. I gave this a 5 star review as I love adventure books. I enjoyed this book and I am sure many people will and have because it’s very mysterious when they try to work out who has been on their island.

It was a fun read, a lovely story that I really enjoyed. I liked it when they found a cave and the shipwreck. When they found the little girl it was very good, it was my favourite bit, her name was Jennifer.

I love the Famous Five series. They are funny and mysterious. George and Timmy are my favourite characters. There are some bad characters called the Sticks who kidnap a little girl. But the Famous Five save the day.

I liked this book. They were on an island and some other people were on there too. But they didn`t know the four children and the dog were on the island too.

It was quite fascinating about how there was a twist in the story and the Sticks were kidnappers. It was a really cool book.

The five ran away to kirrin island so that they can stay there peacefully without the disturbance of the sticks. But they found a trunk and they suspect smugglers. The hears child's scream in the middle of the night. They have an wonderful adventure. I recommend this book to everyone . The character I like in this story book is Julian as he is brave.

Anne,George (whose real name is Georgina)Julian,Dick and Timmy the dog run away to Kirrin Island when George’s mother falls ill and a new cook called Mrs Stick and her husband and son Edgar move in. They think they are on a trail of smugglers until they hear a child screaming. I recommend this book if you like books about adventurous children.
