This was an exciting adventure story with interesting characters. My favourite character was The Beard who turned out to be much friendlier and brave than I originally thought he was. I would definitely recommend this story to people who enjoy ghosts, plot twists and good friends.

I really enjoying this exciting book. It can be a little scary at times but it's a great book. I think anybody over the age of 9 would love this book as much as i did. I didn't want to put it down. My favourite part was when i imagined the look on his friends face when he saw the ghost.

I read this scary story over 7 days. It had an imaginative story line, which included some history. I found it a little difficult in places to read but I understood the story line. Jon, one of the main characters reminded me of myself - brave, cheeky and inquisitive.
