Alien Invasion
Michael Morpurgo, M.B.E., Shoo Rayner
A charming series of adventures for younger readers, featuring a family of all sorts of animals that live in the farmyard behind the tumble-down barn on Mudpuddle Farm…

It is fiction. I liked old Farmer Rafferty. It interested me because I have read other books that Michael Morpurgo has written.

I thought this book was very creative, but I thought younger children would enjoy it more. Also, I found some events were very unusual and unpredictable which is different from other books that I have read. I would recommend this book to children aged 7-9 to read by themselves and 4-6 to read with an adult. This would also be enjoyed by readers who like unexpected events and mysteries. Hope you enjoy this book.

It is a fiction book. My favourite character was Rafferty My favourite part was in Chapter 5 when Egbert got really fat. I would recommend this book to 5 to 6 year old children because every page has a picture and every page does not have a lot of text so it is easy to read.

I would recommend this book because it was really funny. The copy of the book from my library had two stories in one, the second one being Mum's the Word. I really liked the second story because a silly goat ate everything! The first story included a lot of bees and a cat's tail. If you enjoy mudpuddle farm stories, then this book is for you.
